oining the race of tabletrevolution, Fly Mobiles has announced its first Android tablet - Fly Vision ,for the Indian market. It will be available in the market for Rs 7,299.

It will face tough competitionfrom the Beetel Magiq tablet which has a 786 MHz processor and is priced at Rs9,799. Also, the government of India has recently announced the Aakash tabletwhich though will come for around Rs 3,000 but has a slower 366 Mhz processor.

The 7 inch Fly Vision has a TFTLCD touchscreen with a resolution: of 800x480 pixels. It runs on Android 2.2Froyo OS and features a 600 MHz Rockchip 2818 chipset processor and 256 MB ofRAM. It uses a 4000 mAh battery that, according to the company, provides 6hours of continues operation. This Android tablet also houses an externalmemory slot which can accommodate a 16 GB micro SD card. There is a 1.3megapixel camera as well.

Fly Vision allows the users toaccess the Android Market and comes pre-loaded with standard kit of Googleapplications like Google Talk, Gmail, Google Maps and YouTube. Fly Vision isenabled with connectivity functions like Bluetooth, WiFi and 3G.

Additionally, the tablet comeswith a SIM card slot where the user can make voice calls and use data for browsing.The tablet can play HD videos, comes with a pre-installed MS Office and utilitytools.

The tablet is equipped withdifferent pre-installed applications: e-reader, instant messaging, videoplayer, social web integration, standard 3.5 mm audio jack and a built-inspeaker.
